Firstly I?d just like to say that everybody else who tried to tab this song must be tone deaf because
all bollocks.

First of all the tuning is drop-d one tone down, so tune to (low to high) C-G-C-F-A-D this is much quicker
tune to and is a lot kinder to your guitar and allows the chord voicings on the chorus.

As for effects use a thick fuzz on the intro and main riff, for the chorus, if you have a decent
you?ll need it now, for those of you who own a boss GT3 use the ?fantasy? setting on bank 71,
for the rest of you a mild overdrive and a wah pedal with the polarity down and some chorus
(unless of course you have a keyboard player you can play with, in which case don?t bother.

INTRO:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
--------0^1------------------------------------------------0^1-------------------------|
--0^1-------1-1--0---------------------------------0^1-------1-1--0--------------------|
One bar hi-hat only and again

MAIN RIFF:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
----------------------------------3----3--------------------------3----3----------------------|
----------------------------------5/7--5/7-----------------------5/7--5/7---------------------|
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
----------0^1------------------------------------0^1------------------------------------------|
--0^1------------1-1--0-------------------0^1------1-1--0-------------------------------------|

VERSE: guitar drops out, bass plays the same riff

BRIDGE: guitar comes back and plays this

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
----------------5--5---3-------0^1--1--1--------------------------------------------------------|
-------0^1----5--5---3-------0^1--1--1----------------------------------------------------------|
-0^1----------5--5---3-------0^1--1--1----------------------------------------------------------|

Then

------------------------------------------------|
------------------------------------------------|
------------------------------------------------|
------------------5--5--------------------------|
-------0^1------5--5----------------------------|
-0^1------------5--5----------------------------|

Instead of the next chord in the riff the chorus begins, this is when you?ll need those effects.

CHORUS: (the rhythm here isn?t accurate, this is an attempt to illustrate how many bars the chords are
because barlines and rhythm notation are impossible to type)

Then there?s the a cappella part
Then the band comes back and plays the bridge
