I'm unsure of the technique to use for this song.  
 
One way is to play it with the fingers, using either the thumb and first  
finger or the first two fingers to alternate between the strings. I 
don't play much fingerstyle and so have a problem getting this way up to 
speed. I think this is the correct way to play the song so if its your 
favorite it might be worth the effort to practice this method untill 
your up to speed. 
  
The other way is use a plectrum and slightly mute the strings with the 
palm of the right hand. Play the B string with upward strokes and the E  
string with downward strokes. I find this method easier but decide for 
your
