APARTMENT, by custard

Dave of Custard actually showed me how to play this himself. He didn't show me
everything. He showed me the first two riffs I've got here, and the last riff
I've done my best to tab. It is quite an intricate arrangement that is
deceptively clever.
The great thing about Custard is always the high element of crap. So these
transcriptions are impossible to accurately display that crap, so my advice is
to strum as hard as possible, hit as many bum notes as possible and enjoy.

This song is in G minor.
Main Riff

Chords

Just follow the main riff for the verse chords. The break is played with
E-shape barre chords (which is hard to do that fast)- G-G-G-G-A#-C-C#....then
to C-C-C-C-D#-F-F#

This is the final phrase in apartment:

"Ive got good accomodation and I stay in all the time"

 D C

then:

E--18-18-15-15-17-17-15-18-18-15-15-17-17-15-22-22-20-22-15-
B-----------------------------------------------------------

this is only one variation...I tabbed this from the recovery show they
did...but I think it is pretty close to the original. The thing is Dave plays a
strat which I think doesnt have a 22nd fret, But Matt plays a Gibson SG which
does...so maybe the last bit of that phrase is wrong. (or maybe Matt plays it)

The lyrics are on the CD. But for those of you too stupid to go out and buy
weisenheimer here they are:

"I've got a new apartment baby, and it protects me from the lonely whistling
streets, And i've got a new apartment baby, interior colour of red, and my only
friend is my stereo receiver, playing my favourite song all night long, ahh,
I've got a new apartment baby, interior colour of red, and I see a new
appointment maybe advertised for me, and I've got a new singer and I've got a
new song x2, and I whistle along, all night long, Ears sing to me!....I did not
advertise a singer, I did not advertise this song...And I've got good
accommodation and I stay in all the time..."
