This song is actually a Ralph Stanley tune, but Ralph's lead guitar player,
James Shelton, is a famous crosspicker. "what's that?" you ask? Well,
crosspicking is a very unique pickin' pattern where you use a flat pick and
strum with two strokes down, then one stroke up (the notes written closely
together below are crosspickin' notes). You can use this with any three
strings of a chord that are close together. George Shuffler (another bluegrass
guitar picker) made this style famous when he played with Ralph Stanley. So, I
challenge all of you country guitar pickers out there to try this..it's
acutally pretty difficult, when you first start...(by the way, this song isn't
 very fast)

comments and critizisms(I don't know how to spell it) are welcome. Expect more
crosspickin' in the future, ya'll :)
