Mission Chords

Mission by Kings X is a moderately challenging guitar song played in the key of D. It uses the chords D, A, G, B and E. Use the transpose and diagram tools on this page to change the key, see each shape, or simplify the chords.
Here's an approximate tab for this fantastic tune from the golden years of
King's X (which is to say, their first five albums). I've noticed most
of the King's X tabs available on the net leave much to be desired, and this
one may or may not be much better. I am an amateur guitarist at best, but
I've tried to be as accurate as possible here. That said, there are probably
small differences in phrasing and patterns and Ty seems to change a few notes
here and there in the same riffs as the song goes along, but the general notes
are pretty accurate I believe.
I have not attempted the solo as, honestly, it's beyond my skills. I just
wanted to put this out there as it's a song I've not found another tab for out
there in the ether. I know at one point real tab books existed for at least
Gretchen and Faith Hope Love but good luck tracking them down. Anyway, hope
